Through Darkness to Light

My journey began in shadows. Childhood trauma and personal struggles left me carrying the weight of brokenness for years. Seeking purpose, I joined the military, finding structure but also facing new challenges that deepened the scars I already bore. By 2020, I had reached a breaking point. The darkness felt overwhelming, and I believed there was no path forward.

But in February of that year, everything changed. In a moment of surrender, I handed my life to Christ. That surrender wasn’t easy, but it was transformative. For the first time, I felt the weight begin to lift as Christ breathed life into my broken spirit. He gave me a new identity, one grounded not in pain but in His grace and love.

Faith as My Foundation

That surrender marked the start of a profound journey. Christ not only restored me spiritually but also gave me a new mission: to take what was broken and make it whole again. This mission became the heartbeat of my life—shaping how I live, love, and work.

A Family Restored

God’s restoration didn’t stop with me. Shortly after surrendering to Christ, I reconnected with a woman I had met during my 2018 deployment. She gave me the chance to step into her life as a husband and a father to her two amazing children. Through her love and the bond we’ve built as a family, I’ve experienced the fullness of God’s provision.

My family is more than my greatest blessing; they’re my inspiration. Woods Brothers Crafting Co. is not just a business—it’s an extension of the restoration God has worked in my life. Together, we’re creating something that reflects faith, love, and the beauty of second chances.

Craftsmanship as Worship

Every piece I create is a reflection of this journey. Whether I’m restoring a worn-out boot or crafting a new leather good, my work is an act of worship. It’s a way to honor the restoration I’ve experienced through Christ and share that story with others.
